Dental crowns are custom-made tooth caps that cover a natural tooth and act as a protective shield. A crown protects the underlying natural tooth from further damage and reinforces its strength, ensuring it stays strong and functional. Dental crowns repair and restore broken, damaged, brittle, and decayed teeth. They also conceal teeth that are misshapen, discolored, uneven, or asymmetrical. Not only do dental crowns seamlessly restore your chewing ability, but they also stabilize your bite and improve your smile's aesthetics.
Discover High-Quality Dental Bridges in 11201
Are you missing one or more teeth and desire a complete smile? Dental bridges are one of the most reliable ways to replace missing teeth and fill the gaps in your grin. A traditional bridge consists of three or more specialty dental crowns that fit over natural teeth and hold your replacement tooth or teeth in place.
Dental bridges look natural and effectively prevent your remaining teeth from shifting out of position after tooth loss. Though dental bridges require some special care, they are relatively low-maintenance. Our Brooklyn dental team will show you how to properly care for your dental bridge, ensuring lasting comfort and health.
Highly Recommended by Our Patients
Saw Dr. Natalie Hirayama for a crown. Highly recommend. She is knowledgeable and skilled, and has a calm approach to prioritizing multiple dental concerns. Refreshing approach especially for someone who waits until it's absolutely necessary to visit the dentist.
Amazing experience! The environment is welcoming, and the staff is very friendly. My hygienist, Peter, was thorough and gentle. Dr. Goldman walked me through everything he was doing and explained in terms that I could easily understand. I appreciated how modern the office equipment is, too. Leaf makes visiting the dentist a breeze!
I've been going to Leaf Dental since shortly after they opened in DUMBO. Doctor Goldman and his staff have always been amazing. They're genuinely nice, professional, and excellent at their jobs. I'm so happy to have found them! Highly recommended.

Losing a dental crown can be concerning, but remaining calm and following the appropriate steps can help safeguard your tooth until you visit your dentist. Here’s what you should do:
1. Find the crown — Retrieve the crown and store it safely in case your dentist can reattach it.
2. Inspect the tooth — Check the exposed tooth for any sharp edges or discomfort. Avoid touching the area too much to prevent further damage.
3. Clean the crown and tooth — Gently rinse the crown with warm water, and if the tooth isn’t painful, rinse with salt water to clean your mouth.
4. Find an appropriate short-term fix — If you can’t see a dentist immediately, apply over-the-counter dental cement—do NOT use glue or other household adhesives—to temporarily secure the crown.
5. Eat mindfully — Stick to soft foods and avoid chewing on the affected part of the mouth to prevent additional damage.
6. Schedule a dental appointment — Call your dentist as soon as possible to arrange to have the crown reattached or replaced.

Dental implants are one of the most significant advancements in dentistry. Unlike a dental bridge attached to teeth adjacent to the missing space, a dental implant is a standalone prosthesis placed into the jawbone, replacing your tooth and its valuable root.
We fabricate a dental crown to attach to the implant for single dental implants. The crown functions like a natural tooth, and it is a surprisingly conservative treatment for replacing missing teeth.
Your dentist in 11201 may discuss an implant-retained bridge or denture if you have multiple missing teeth.
The Dental Implant Process
The first step to a new smile is a consultation with your Brooklyn dentist. This appointment determines your eligibility for dental implants. If you are a candidate, we will schedule your implant placement.
After placement, you'll enjoy an integration period. This lasts a few months and encourages the implant posts to integrate into the jawbone.
The final step is. dental crown or prosthetic placement. Typically, it takes up to six dental implants to secure a prosthetic.

We accept CareCredit financing.
The Crown and Bridge Process
Before your procedure, we’ll make sure you feel completely comfortable. We gently numb and reshape your tooth, then take a detailed digital scan to ensure a precise fit for your crown. We send the scan to our USA dental laboratory partners, where a skilled technician crafts your restoration; this process takes a couple of weeks. In the meantime, we place a temporary crown so you can eat, speak, and smile comfortably and efficiently.
When your final crown is back from the lab, we will place it over your tooth. We first check the crown's size, shape, fit, and color to ensure it's perfect, and we secure it over the natural tooth using dental cement. We finish the procedure by removing excess dental adhesive and polishing the tooth to look shiny and beautiful like your other teeth. If you are receiving a dental bridge, we finish the procedure by securing your dental bridge in place.
